Glass: Fragment of ancient Roman glass — irregular shapes, marine patina, changing reflections
Finish: matte and textured appearance, each gilding unique, applied by hand.

ONE OF A KIND — Gold Leaf Roman Glass

These fragments of Roman glass date back almost two thousand years.
Originating from ancient basins and wine cups from the Roman era, they lay for centuries in the sea, on the trade routes linking Egypt, Syria and Italy to Asia.

Under the action of salt and sea minerals, the glass slowly changed:
its layers have separated, oxidized, creating a natural shimmer, a pearly iridescence that only time can shape.
Each shade—sea green, antique blue, soft opal—tells a story of a journey, a light filtered by the ocean.

These fragments are now hand-set in a pewter alloy gilded with 24k gold leaf.
Their raw texture and irregular contours evoke archaeological relics, transformed into contemporary jewelry.

Worn alone, on a Chiang Mai chain or a De La Valma neck bow, like a solar talisman, a trace of a submerged world.
